The 8-day tour opens with the grandeur of Serengeti National Park where you find yourself in the legendary Western Corridor, home to abundant wildlife all year and also the scene for the seasonal Great Wildebeest Migration. Move to the Western side of Tanzania in Katavi for game viewing.

Itinerary

Days 1 - 3: Overlooking the Serengeti | 4 Nights

Welcome to Arusha, on arrival you will be met and transferred to Arusha Airport to take your scheduled flight to Serengeti’s Seronera Airstrip, met by your guide at the airstrip and with a short game en-route transfer to Soroi Serengeti, your home in the wild for the next 3 nights.

The camp has the best bird eye view of the plains, as its located high up on a plateau, relax as you take in the views over a cold drink before meeting your host for lunch. Embark on full day game drives with picnic lunches to make the most of your time and explore this hidden corner of the Serengeti.

A safari in the Serengeti at any time of the year is always an experience to marvel, abundant plain game and the predators always in pursuit, offers the most thrilling game experience, Soroi is located on the Western Corridor of the national park, where the huge concentration of wildebeest pass through as they head for the dangerous river crossings, as they head for the green grass of the northern Serengeti and Maasai Mara.

Days 4 - 7: Welcome to Katavi

Breakfast and later transfer to the airstrip to take your flight across Tanzanian expanse, to the largest national park in Tanzania, The Katavi National Park, on arrival met by your safari guide and transfer to Mbali Mbali Katavi, your home for the next four nights as you explore the game rich park, the wetlands are home to stately storks and great pelicans as the plains, full of plain game are stalked by the big cats for a hunt.

After a day in the wild retire to your tented suite, complete with a private veranda and sofa as you look into the endless plains of the Serengeti – inside a 4 poster bed, to unwind and a writing desk to jot down the days on your diary complete the picture of an authentic camp in the African bush. The tents have a modern bathroom and also battery powered charging ports.

Day 8: Farewell Tanzania

Breakfast and later a transfer to the airstrip with a game drive en-route to catch the flight back to Arusha, the flight takes four hours and the lodge will provide you with a packed lunch. On arrival in Arusha continue with your onward safari arrangements.
