Itinerary

Kilimanjaro does not require technical climbing skills but demands hiking-level fitness. On average to scale the Kilimanjaro, the walking required is six to eight hours a day, needing a good level of hiking fitness, no technical skills are required. The guides use the longer days to reach the scenic points, then come down to lower altitudes to spend the night. Uhuru peak rises to 5 895m (19 340ft), a mere 2 953m (9 689ft) less than the Everest’s summit, and upper than the Everest South Base Camp at Camp at 5 364m (17 598ft). The high altitudes affects most trekkers, the trek high, sleep low technique, helps prepare the body to cope at the higher altitudes of the peak.

After seven days of conquering Kilimanjaro, it is time to catch your return transfers and head back to the real world!
