Itinerary
Day 1 : To the Tarangire | 1 Night
Welcome to Arusha, the Geneva of Africa, after a short briefing from your guide, take the scenic drives towards the Tarangire National Park, the home of large baobab trees, large herds of elephants and tree climbing lions, we arrive at the park and immediately continue with our game drive, and later enjoy our picnic lunch under the shades in the open Tarangire. Before the sun sets we arrive at the Lake Burunge Tented Camp, our accommodation for the night, set with breathtaking views of the Tarangire, with facilities including a swimming pool and availability of Wi-Fi.
Days 2 - 3 : Under Canvas in the Serengeti | 2 Nights
Breakfast and we drive through the scenic landscapes of then rift valley highlands, you will notice the temperatures getting cooler and the vegetation lush, we shall take our lunch en route and have a brief stopover at the crater view point, as we head to Africa greatest wildlife reserve, the Serengeti National Park.
The Serengeti is a world famous wildlife destination that can be visited all year round, but it’s during the months of November to June, when it becomes alive when the migration arrives from the Masai Mara. You shall spend the two full days out on the Serengeti Under Canvas, exploring the amazing game, taking the best pictures and sharing the wonderful insights with your knowledgeable safari guide, later return to your mobile tented camp, that depending with the migration changes locations to ensure you a front row seat of the unfolding action, sit besides the campfire to share the stories of the day, to the distance howls of the lion.
Day 4 : Into the Crater | 1 Night
We take early to road and take the scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, going through sporadic concentration of wildlife and idle Masai villages, arriving at the crater, formed millions of years ago through a gigantic volcanic explosion, within the crater, the large open caldera is home to the densest concentration of big mammals
As we go down the crater you will begin to notice the shadows and shapes of popular animals among the trees, such as the buffalos, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and elephants, concentrated on the crater floor and mingling among each other, among them and not very far also live the biggest concentration of big cats, lions, leopards that are regularly seen, you may flamingos and hippos in the crater lakes, with the occasional hyena on patrol.
From a different way out, we make our way to Karatu, where you will spend the night at the Ngorongoro farm house, a chic lodge located in an operating coffee plantation, surrounded by lush gardens, facilities include a swimming pool and a massage parlor, it a makes a wonderful way to complete your safari.
